5, 4, 3, 2, 1…

It’s time for the Fabulous Friday Find with Emily and Jen! You have five minutes to read today’s post.  Start your timer now.  Ok, not really but do you have a timer handy?  Probably most of us would have to dig around to find one, especially if we were away from our classroom.  Today’s find is a simple little trick to help you out when you’re in a pinch and it’s brought to you by Google.  Just do a Google search for “timer” and you land at a page that will have a 5 minute timer at the top of the results.

Need to set the timer to a different time?  Just do a Google search for timer followed by your specific time.  The timer will automatically start counting down once you push Enter on your keyboard for the search.  Here’s an example of one minute, five seconds.  You’ll have two features with the timer to stop it and reset it.  If you click the “Stop” button, it’ll instantly turn to a “Start” button for you to click to continue.  When you have reached the time, you’ll hear a series of beeps as with a regular handheld timer.

Your time is up!  Thank you for taking the time to read our blog:)
